About Us
IM Design is primarily a Web Design business. However, we have ventured into the areas of Graphic Design, Video Editing and Social Media Management. We specialise in locally owned businesses providing these services at a reasonable cost. IM Design was set up in June, 2020 and is based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
About the owner
My name is Ian and I am the owner and managing director of IM Design. After I graduated from college with a BSc in Multimedia Applications Development I moved to Cork for around a year for a “time-out” year where I was working in retail while trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life (and very quickly came to the conclusion that it wasn’t working in retail…).When the first Covid-19 lockdown arrived I was working from home on customer support until the store re-opened again in June when the lockdown was starting to ease, to which I discovered after working hard 5-6 days a week, my hours were now reduced to Saturday and Sunday…
I then left Cork (and the job) and returned home to Clonmel where I decided to put my skills to good use and start IM Design. My goal is to help locally owned businesses take their business to the next step by creating a professional online presence for their business and hopefully convincing people to buy Irish and support our local economy!
